Monteverde with a difference - Stock No 130292
Description Originally a Monteverde fountain pen which arrived with us featuring a totally destroyed nib and feed. With a little ingenuity, a replacement feed was found and a new Sheaffer two tone Feather Touch 18 carat gold fine nib fitted.  Fitted with converter and writes very well!

Apprentice piece - Stock No 130293
Description Fabricated by hand in 2019 by our then apprentice from green ripple hard rubber. Press fit cap and clipless. Fitted with modern Sheaffer internals including converter and carrying a fine 14 carat gold new Sheaffer "Lifetime" nib. It writes very well.

Eclipse - Stock No 130283
Description In red hard rubber.  Manufactured in the USA in 1930.  Fitted with a Warranted No 8, 14 carat gold Medium nib.  All Eclipse pens were fitted with Warranted nibs.  Unfortunate and permanent ink staining to barrel threads.  Otherwise, in perfect condition.  A huge pen measuring 135 mm in length uncapped and 175 mm capped.  Plating is perfect.

Eclipse - Stock No 130284
Description In red hard rubber with chased pattern. Manufactured in the USA in 1930.  Fitted with a Warranted No 8, 14 carat gold Medium nib.  All Eclipse pens were fitted with Warranted nibs.  In perfect condition.  A  pen very large pen measuring 135 mm in length uncapped and 165 mm capped.  Plating is perfect.

Mentmore Model 46 - Stock No 130257
Description An unusual Mentmore with semi-hooded nib and button filler mechanism.  Made circa 1946 and featuring a rolled gold cap which has a few scuff marks but, no dents.  In the true Mentmore style, the barrel and section are black whereas the blind cap is a dark burgundy.  Fitted with a 14 carat gold Mentmore Fine nib.

Wasp Vac Fill - Stock No 130263
Description Wasp pens were made by Sheaffer.  This one was made circa 1939 and carries the flexible Wasp No 7 Fine 14 carat gold nib.  Plating is good but some unfortunate tooth marks to the blind cap.  Bad habits some people had!  Filling system completely restored.

Neptune Model 44 - Stock No 130251
Description Made between 1923 and 1925 by Burge Warren & Ridgley (UK) who can rightfully claim to be the first fountain pen manufacturer in the UK.  The model was short-lived in production and uses a unique "push fill" vacuum filling system using the pen's cap as a source of air pressure.  The filling system has been restored.  Fitted with 14 carat Warranted gold Medium nib and provided with original box, warranty certificate and filling instructions.  A rare collectors' opportunity.

The New Era Pen - Stock No 130142
Description A very interesting English pen which is a blatant copy of a "Big Red" Parker.  The pen is a replica of a Duofold Senior in size and, save for the lever, attempts to replicate the Parker product. The pen is marked "The New Era Pen by A & O Co London No 4R". The pen is made of red hard rubber and features a non-removable blind cap to the barrel and four vent holes in the cap.  Lever filler. Carries a huge Warranted 14 carat gold nib.  In 30 or so years of vintage pen dealing and collecting, we have never seen one. The doyen of English pens, Stephen Hull has never seen this pen before and can offer no clues as to its manufacture or history.  The pen is in perfect condition with crisp imprints and perfect plating and finish.  The original box is with the pen and provides no clues as to its history.

'No Name' - Stock No 130124
Description An interesting, bandless resin pen with no markings at all.  Button filler.  Blue and (dark) gold resin. Mild brassing to clip.  Fitted with Warranted fine steel nib.  This pen shows little signs of use and otherwise is perfect.  Filling system restored.  Writes very well.  Impossible to date but manufacturing techniques suggest mid 1950s to 1960.
